MEi “Almohamadien trading imports, and exports” is a manufacturing market leader in the medical apparel, linens and regular work uniform industry serving various sectors; including ministries of health, hospitals, medical centers and clinics of different scales, maintenance and contracting firms , F&B companies, oil & gas enterprises, hotels and resorts, in addition to schools and educational organizations in diverse markets all over the world through our office in Cairo, Egypt.

A STORY OF  PASSION AND BUSINESS LEADER MINDSET

The story goes back to 1987, when the passionate engineer Shawky Almohamadein caught an eye on medical apparels during his visit to one of the well known hospitals in KSA . Almohamadien with Agricultural engineering background and Egyptian roots,  started to think of incorporating  high-quality pure Egyptian cotton in manufacturing extraordinary medical wear to fulfill market needs while satisfying end-users with fashionable, convenient  and comfy uniform to wear all the day long. Almohamadein , with  8 machines and a business leader  mindset,  assembled  his factory, in Fakous, Alsharkia governance, that was built to become the first specialized medical uniform manufacturer in Egypt with business capabilities that qualify to export and serve foreign markets with high-quality apparels in terms of design durability, fabrics sustainability, and piece-of-art finishing. Executing a well crafted business development plan, Almohamadein fleet reached 400 machines and  started product range differentiation to serve every entity that might need regular work uniform. The know-how and hard work over the past 34 years paid-off well and Almohamadein became a top supplier in more than 14 countries in  Europe, USA, Gulf area, and Africa. Out of development perspective and up-to-date mindset; Almohamadein went for brand revamp and now we operate as MEi.
